Project Update - 5/19/09

Here are some quick updates on what I have been working on and where the project stands. This is the last update from US.

a. The funds for the initial work continues to grow. A bit behind on track to reach our initial goal. More is always welcome. Do help spread the word further. One could also seek to purchase the images at a very discounted rate. Remember all 100% of the proceeds go to this project. If you do not have Paypal account, drop me a mail. I will provide the account details. (We are working to make this more robust too.)

b. I have been tirelessly working on further features implementation on the website too. (Looking for people with skills in designing Drupal based CMS websites and also integrating Google Maps API. Do let me know if someone could volunteer with their skills on this.)

c. We have been talking to multiple organizations for further funding and association and they look really promising. Will be posting more on this in the days to come.

d. The number of people interested in volunteering for the project is increasing and more people have blogged about it. Definitely need more people to do it.

e. I am moving back to India tomorrow and my next update will be from the field from amongst the students. The children will be thrilled.
